For use with Cayston®

The Altera nebuliser handset is a device from PARI's eFlow® Technology platform that is specifically optimised for the nebulisation of Cayston 75 mg powder and solvent for nebuliser solution. For detailed information about Cayston please refer to the package leaflet of the medicine.

Intended Use

Intended purpose
The Altera nebuliser handset with an eBase® Controller is intended to administer Cayston as an aerosol for inhalation.

Indication
The Altera nebuliser handset is indicated to administer Cayston to treat lung infections caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa in patients with cystic fibrosis (CF).

Contraindication
For the Altera nebuliser handset no contraindication is known to PARI Pharma GmbH. Take note of contraindications of the medicine in the Cayston package leaflet.

Use of the nebuliser handset
The Altera nebuliser handset must only be used in accordance with its intended purpose. For reasons of hygiene and to avoid cross-infections, the Altera nebuliser handset must only be used by one patient.
