eFlow® Technology nebuliser handsets are used for the treatment of diseases of the lower airways. They are based on eFlow® Technology with the core component consisting of the aerosol head with the vibrating membrane. The nebuliser handsets are characterised by high efficiency and short nebulisation times (depending on the properties of the drug to be nebulised) as well as high, respirable quality of the aerosols produced.
As well as the versatile and freely available eFlow®rapid nebuliser handset, there are medication-specific nebuliser handsets designed specifically to meet the requirements of certain drug formulations and patient groups. These are only designed to nebulise one specific medication approved for use with the nebuliser handset. They are marketed with the specific medication of the pharmaceutical company in licence and are prescribed with the medication.
